Herp Shows

This page contains various pictures of some of the "Herp Shows" that we have attended in the past.  Although requiring a lot of work preparing, traveling, setting up, and taking down, this is what we look forward to.  This is our opportunity to show to the public the results of the dedicated time and labor we have put into our collections over the years.  We also look forward to meeting old friends, who have over time become like family.  It is exciting to meet new customers that appreciate what we produce.

You can see we were small, but we had the fever, and it grew...

Orlando95.jpg (346207 bytes)  Our first year at the National Reptile Breeder's Expo, Orlando, Florida 1996

We were selling the few snakes we were producing on a friends table, but this year we were able to get into  "The Big Show".  This is myself, Robert, and my wife Dian.

Tampa95.jpg (383103 bytes) We produced enough snakes to attend the International Reptile Show, Tampa 1996.  We had a great time there.

At the National Reptile Breeder's Expo, Orlando, Florida 1997, my wife and I expanded to two tables.  No pictures available for this show.

Orlando97.jpg (356324 bytes) At the National Reptile Breeder's Expo, Orlando, Florida 1998 we teamed up with Alec Estabrooks, a long time customer and very good friend, besides being an experienced "Herper".  My son and Alec's father are also in the picture.

Alec and I still had two tables at the National Reptile Breeder's Expo, Orlando, Florida 1999.  This was the last year this show was held in Orlando.  We enjoyed the years the show was held here.  No pictures available for this show.

Daytona00.jpg (333599 bytes)    Daytona00-1.jpg (345161 bytes)   National Reptile Breeder's Expo 2000 Daytona, Florida.  This was the first year here, and what a success.  All 500 vendor tables in one room, and across from the beach.  This year we were able to acquire four tables.   Plenty of room to display the fruits of our labor.

applegate.JPG (126693 bytes)  After 12 years, I finally got to meet Bob Applegate.  Most of my initial stock all came from Bob.  It was great to get the chance to meet him!
