Herp Shows
This page contains various pictures of some of the "Herp Shows" that we have attended in the past. Although requiring a lot of work preparing, traveling, setting up, and taking down, this is what we look forward to. This is our opportunity to show to the public the results of the dedicated time and labor we have put into our collections over the years. We also look forward to meeting old friends, who have over time become like family. It is exciting to meet new customers that appreciate what we produce.
This was my first show at the International Reptile Show, Tampa, Florida 1995
You can see we were small, but we had the fever, and it grew...
Our first year at the National Reptile Breeder's Expo, Orlando, Florida 1996
We were selling the few snakes we were producing on a friends table, but this year we were able to get into "The Big Show". This is myself, Robert, and my wife Dian.
We produced enough snakes to attend the International Reptile Show, Tampa
1996. We had a great time there.
At the National Reptile Breeder's Expo, Orlando, Florida 1997, my wife and I expanded to two tables. No pictures available for this show.
At the National Reptile Breeder's Expo, Orlando, Florida 1998 we teamed up with
Alec Estabrooks, a long time customer and very good friend, besides being an
experienced "Herper". My son and Alec's father are also in the
picture.
Alec and I still had two tables at the National Reptile Breeder's Expo, Orlando, Florida 1999. This was the last year this show was held in Orlando. We enjoyed the years the show was held here. No pictures available for this show.
National Reptile Breeder's Expo 2000 Daytona, Florida. This was the first
year here, and what a success. All 500 vendor tables in one room, and
across from the beach. This year we were able to acquire four
tables. Plenty of room to display the fruits of our labor.
National Reptile Breeder's Expo 2001 Daytona, Florida. Same time, same
place, and a really great time! We made some changes to our display sign
to reflect our current projects. It's great to meet new "Herpers"
and to reunite with the friends we have made in the past.
National Reptile Breeder's Expo 2002 Daytona, Florida. Our third year in
Daytona, and another great time! We had more to offer on our table this
year, than in the past.
Florida International Reptile Show 2002 Tampa, Florida. It was good to get
back into the Tampa Show. We had a great weekend making new friends, and
seeing old ones.
Below are some pictures of close friends we have made at the shows.
Craig & Linda Trumbower with Robert Cox
Our good friend Rob Nimo with Robert Cox
Norm Damm and Craig Trumbower. I owe the quality of the Hondurans we
produce to Norm. Most of my breeder's were produced by Norm.
Here is Alec with Ricky Waters, Steve Masek, and his son Devin.
Here we are with Alec's friend Gordon. You might have seen him on Ripley's
Believe it or not.
I got the chance to meet Mark O'Shea at Midwest's booth.
After 12 years, I finally got to meet Bob Applegate. Most of my initial
stock all came from Bob. It was great to get the chance to meet him!
This is a day we will always remember. Elvis was "in the
building"! Actually this is Alec, Craig, and myself with the star
guest at my mom's surprise birthday party.
